Alexandra is 6 Months!
Okay, she is really 7 months now, but at the beginning of November Alexandra turned 6 months old. At 6 months Alexandra was sitting up like a pro, and she started crawling! It was a surprise but this little thing was just crawling around on the floor.Luckily she doesn’t get into too much trouble yet.
At this time Alexandra was starting to eat a lot of real food, and loves it all! She also has become more smiley, but still doesn’t laugh a lot. When we do get a chuckle it is the cutest thing ever! Her brother and sisters still love her to pieces and insist on holding her all the time, and even fight over it. Tanner will wake up in the morning and goes in to Alexandra’s room and watches tv while he plays with her and takes care of her until I wake up. Alexandra is still waking in the night to eat, but I really don’t mind those extra minutes I get to spend with her. She is also very tiny for her age, but I love it!

Did I ever tell you that we had a girl’s name picked out before we found out we were having a boy and it was Alexandra Mae Fairbanks. Then we had a boy and had to come up with something else. Anyhow, it was funny to me to realize that your little girl and my little boy who are both about the same age would have had the same name…if he’d been a girl.
Nathaniel turned six months old on Dec. 14th and is a great sitter too and has started crawling this past week. He would rather be walking which he will do if you hold his hands or when he pulls himself up on the couch or guinea pig cages but the rest of the time he was so frustrated that he couldn’t go anywhere that he just started crawling suddenly. Crazy kid.
