School
Tanner absolutely adores kindergarten. If he has to miss a day for illness or other reasons, he begs to go and is beyond excited when he gets to go back. There have been some fun goings-on the last two weeks. Last Thursday was the 100 day party, they had been in school 100 days. My favorite part about this was Tanner’s teacher. Mrs. Harding dressed up like a 100 year old lady! Tanner told us ” Mrs. Harding tried to trick us, but we were smart and caught her trick right away”. He also said that she would even talk like an old lady, but sometimes she would forget and talk like Mrs. Harding.
On Friday of this week, they had a “Fancy Nancy” valentine party, and they had to wear their fanciest clothes. Tanner was very into this, and picked out what he thought was the fanciest clothes he had. He looked so handsome!
Then when he came home, he was wearing this:
I love that Tanner loves school and his teacher, and that they learn so much, but have fun doing it too!

It is fun seeing them so happy about school. If only it lasted forever! So did he sing you your Valentine’s today? It was the cutest thing ever. Stockton told me they were learning this song to sing to their moms and then first thing this morning he came to me and sang it all seriously. When he was done he told me that he was so glad he did it b/c he was worried he would forget it! You’ll have to tell me how yours went.
