Today was Tanner’s little kindergarten Christmas sing. Earlier in the week we were making cookies, and Tanner starts belting out “I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”. I thought it was so funny that he knew that song, and even funnier that he learned it at school! Then Tanner asks a million questions, ” What happens if I do come down the stairs and see you kissing Santa?” A friend of mine explained to her kids that Santa was actually the dad dressed up, so it was okay. Of course me  being the Mom I am, I told him, ” I would say, shhh don’t tell Dad!”

Tanner was pretty excited to wear his jammies to school for their polar express party. He was pretty worried that he would be the only one though. This was odd because about a week and a half ago he tried to convince me his polar express party was the next day and he had to wear his jammies. So, he wasn’t worried about wearing them when he wasn’t supposed to, but then when he was, he gets all nervous!

I asked Tanner if he thought the girl next to him was cute (I know her mom). He said, “What girl? Mom, I only like Makenna.” So faithful at such a young age, doesn’t even notice the other girls! Also, watch the kid in the second row to the left of Tanner, he cracked me up, so into it!
