It’s Cold

I just wanted to document this for posterity, so when people talk about the freezing cold December of 09, I can say I was there.

On Wednesday morning, I woke up and checked the temp, -5 degree.

Thursday morning 1 degree

Friday Morning 5 degrees.

It is supposed to warm up tomorrow, 30 degrees. Sounds like a lot, except then it will still only be 30 degrees.

It was like my brother Steven mentioned on facebook, you can turn your heat down all you want, it will still run all night long.

And polar bear Natalya still wants to play outside…

Our heater has been running all night in CA too. Its really cold for here lately, but I feel your Utah pain.

Yeah, I’ve never had to endure such temps before! This only being my 3rd winter here I feel ill equipped to deal with sub zero and single digit temps. Brrr, my feet have been frozen for a week stright!

It sounds like it was when we lived in Indiana:) So cold! We turned our heater down to 62 and it still ran which is crazy cause it’s California but it wasn’t even close to how bad it was there. It’s raining now, more and more rain:)

As cold as it has been, note the temp. just a couple hours north. When it was about 5 degrees in Sandy this week, it was -11 in Logan. I remember having to track the temperature for my science class for a week in middle school, and it was -20 as I left for school. So in a way, I guess I should feel cozily nostalgic about it, but I don’t. I just feel cold. :-)
