Lagoon
Yesterday we were able to go to Lagoon with Trent’s parents and two of his sisters. Tanner was so excited to go, can’t you tell?
It was way more fun than I expected, I just assumed we would have problems with the kids at some point, but we did not at all! Between all the adults we were able to ride so many rides, and we always had someone to stay either with the all the kids, or just with Nadia. At two seperate occasions grandpa took Natalya on all the kiddie rides, which she loved. This one was her favorite.
Tanner was about a 1/4 inch too small to ride on some of the biggger rides, but we sneaked him through anyway! He went on some scary ones, but he seemed to love it! We spent most of the morning riding the “carnival” type rides, the ones that make your stomach turn after a while…
We also spent sometime in Lagoon A Beach. Tanner again was a little too small for the waterslides, but we got him on anyway. He had to go down by himself, but he did it and loved it! Trent and I had time to run off and so some of the bigger slides. The last one I wanted to go on was this slide where it started out in a tube and then ended with one of those straight down drops. I didn’t think it looked to bad so I decided I would go. Little did I know, the tube was pitch black on the inside so you are just going along in this pitch black tube and then BAM you pretty much free fall, it was so scary I was shaking for like 15 minutes after. The water park was Nadia’s favorite also, she loved the lazy river and playing on the steps with grandma.
After Lagoon A Beach we headed back to the park and hit some of the more traditional roller coasters. My favorite ride is called Wicked. You are in a cart and you go stright up, then stright down, then around some turns and curves. Just the feeling if going up compelelty vertical is crazy.
Anyway, we had a great time, and so glad we went with Trent’s parents and sisters. It would have been a nightmare without them! They are so much fun to be with, it made the trip much more enjoyable.
Nadia was such a trooper and took naps in her stroller and never made a peep! She spent most her time snacking though. We stayed way later then we thought and didn’t get home until after 11pm. It was great though, the kids sept in until 9:30am

That was a good time! I can’t believe how many times Natalya could go down that slide (“Again!”). I also liked the conversation as we approached your house . . .
Tanner: Mom?
You: Yeah, Tanner?
Tanner: Am I awake?
Wonder what he was dreaming about.
