Farm Country

I am trying to get back on our schedule of visiting Thanksgiving Point once a week. This week we went to Farm Country! Nadia was so excited, it was her first time.

I love the little jail they have. For some reason seing your children behind bars makes you laugh…or maybe the idea of them being caged up is appealing.

In the classroom building they are creating a new little hands on area. It is set up so your kids can “grow” fruits and vegetables, harvest them, take them to the factory, and then put them in the market. It is just set up for a preview and the real thing opens in October. Although it wasn’t quite finished, the kids had a blast!

The highlight of the trip was the pony rides. This was the first time Natalya went all by herself.

And then Natalya snuggled upĀ  and made friends with a goat.
