Lehi Round-Up week was this week. We always try to do as much as possible, but there is so much going on we are bound to miss some things. Something we did not miss this week was the parades! Lehi has three parades in three days.

On Thursday they had the all horse parade in preparation for the rodeo. Some of the highlights: we saw a guy riding to the start of the parade on his horse talking on a cell phone,  it was Breast Cancer Awareness at the Rodeo that night so everyone was in pink and some of the horses were painted pink, and they threw candy!

On Friday night there was a miniature float parade with all the floats made by  the different wards in the area. This was fun because we met up with friends and it rained a little bit… everything is more fun with umbrellas right? Candy was also thrown at this parade.

On Saturday it was the big parade. Tanner and I went an hour and a half early to get good spots, and then Trent, Natalya, and Nadia met up with us right before it started. At this point I think Nadia was sick of parades. It was a lot of fun and the kids got even more candy and even a toothbrush!

And the highlight of the parade? Tanner’s dream come true…
