What’s Up

This is to my faithful blog readers. If you have noticed, I have not been writing as often as usual. Here are my excuses:

It is to hot to blog. We have been hovering around 100 all week, the last thing I want to do it put a hot laptop in my lap.

Trent started P90x workouts, and I have been doing it with him, moderately, which takes up a lot of free time in the evenings when I usually blog.

Tanner and I had the stomach flu this weekend. It started for Tanner Sunday morning. Then it hit me right after church (just enough time for me to infect all the nursery kids). Fortunately, because Tanner was sick, I was religiously using hand sanitizer during nursery so hopefully that killed any and all germs I may have passed on. Luckily, it was a 24 hour thing, and we are all better, although a little tired.

We have been watching our reality shows. So You Think You Can Dance: We were really mad when Gev got kicked off. There were three guys from Utah and one girl, Gev was the last Utah guy to get kicked off, but he was realy good, and did some amazing break dancing. Luckily, my favorite girl, Chelsie Hightower (also from Utah) is still on, and is a favorite to win. To vindicate Gev getting kicked off, Will got kicked off this week. He was a decently good dancer, but really boring. The judges loved him because his mentor was some lady that judged the show last year and part of this year. Favortism in my book, glad to see him go. We also watched the finales of Design Star and Next Food Networks Star. Design Star did not announce the winner, but I am shooting for Matt Locke. Aaron Mccargo Jr. won foodnetwork star. I was cool as long as the scary alien lady didn’t win.

I just finished a fantastic book called, These Is My Words, by Nancy Turner. The book is a grown-up version of Little House On the Prairie. It is written in diary form by a girl/lady named Sarah Agnes Prine. This book was so interesting, and full of so much history from the late 1800′s in the Arizona Territories. It is not based on a true story, but the author uses real events and a few real people to create the story.

So, those are my excuses for not blogging. Maybe I’ll be better this week…
