Fun Saturday

There was a couple things going on today that sounded fun. One was free fishing day at Cabelas (and after reading a few blogs about it, glad we didn’t go), and the Utah Lake Festival. Since the weather was a little bad this morning, we decided not to do either. Instead, we went bowling!

Trent bowled his own game, and the kids and I shared a game (since I am so bad at bowling anyway!) We had a fun time, and the kids were pretty good about taking turns. Natalya was so cute, she would drop her ball, then wait, and if she hit the pins she would squeal and clap for herself! The best part was, the kids and I beat Trent 86 to 70! Trent usually is a really good bowler, but he was bowling with a 15 pounder, wasn’t used to it.

For dinner, we had our leftovers of ribs and bratwurst. Trent made his famous BBQ sauce that he invented (BBQ sauce with blackberry preserves, Thai chili sauce, and ketchup) It is the best stuff you will ever taste. Natalya liked it do so much, she was eating it out of the pan with a spoon!

    Hey, we (Mom, Dad, Elise and I) went bowling on Saturday, too! Even I beat Trent’s score…
