Memorial Day

We had a fun day today. Tanner was able to go to his friend Stockton’s birthday party. Then, Grandma and Grandpa Miskin came for a little visit. Since it rained the whole day, we just hung around the house and played. Grandpa, Trent, Tanner and Natalya attempted to go fly the kites, but then got scared off by the lightening. For Dinner we went to JCW’s which has excellent hamburgers. Then, after dinner, Tanner wanted to show Grandma and Grandpa that he was learning how to ride without training wheels. Trent was working on it with him a little on Saturday, so I was expecting it to take another week or to. Much to my surprise, I looked out the window and this is what I saw…

Also, Tanner has been waiting all spring to see a rainbow, and this evening we finally saw one!

The day ended with Natalya falling and getting another fat lip. She was okay after she had some icecream though.

Great job Tanner! Cruz has been riding for a couple of years now, but Kenyon still has no interest. Hopefully this summer we’ll be able to get him to try riding. Then we could take all the boys for a bike ride.

I swear I was not that young when I learned to ride a bike…

I can’t believe he can ride w/o training wheels. Stockton just got training wheels and I figured he would have them for a couple years. That’s amazing!
