Please, check the weather report before you put your garbage out. If there is “high winds” the the forecast, please I beg you, wait until the morning to put out your garbage. Also, if you have noticed your can has tipped and is spewing garbage out everywhere, please pick it up. If you decide not to do that, please come to my backyard, pick up your trash and take it with you. Also, if you have lost anything that may have blown away in the wind, let me know, I probably have it (ie: bicycle helmets, wicker basket, balls)…
Obviously I am kidding, sort of. Today alone we had three pizza boxes, 2 empty milk cartons, about 6 or 7 frozen meal boxes, a couple soda boxes and more. It will be nice to get a fence put up so we can stop being the neighborhood garbage collectors, and pass the job on to someone else:) Plus, every time I see an empty box of something like pizza, dingdongs, or pepsi it makes me crave them and I see them every time I look out my window. Eventually have to give in and go buy some, and that is not good for my waistline.
