Never-Ending Winter
Anyone who lives in Utah, at least in Northern Utah, can agree: we have had a never ending winter. This is a picture from Friday. While it is not odd to get snow in April, I believe this was snow number 3 or 4 for the month! Also, today was the first day this spring it was above 70 degrees, that is crazy! Usually Utah has some crazy Springs when it is warm one day and cold the next, but it seems by April we have had several days in a row in the 70′s, not just one. So, Friday it snowed right? Well, today I got sunburned. It was 80 degrees. And guess what I just heard for tomorrow, possible snow on the valley floor. Seriously, I will jump for joy when we have more than two NON-windy nice days in a row.
Does anyone else feel like they have been couped up far to long. Then when the days are nice you are outside the entire day like you have to soak up as much vitamin D as possible before the sun goes away again??
Along the same line, we really enjoyed our day today, and the nice weather. We spent some time in the morning blowing bubbles (I really need to get some video of Natalya running around crazy screaming “bubbole, bubbole!”) Then after naps we went on a LONG walk all around the neighborhood, and then stopped at the park. For FHE we broke out the bikes and bike trailer and rode our bikes to Main Street and got ice cream at Emmetts. This opened a whole new world to me, now that I know I can safely ride my bike (and the trailer) to downtown…
