The Miskin Family

It has been a while since I have blogged specifically about the kids. So, I thought I would write up some cute new things about Natalya. She is my dream sleeper. She goes to bed right at 7:30, with little or no fight, and wakes up at 9:00am! She also takes a two hour nap in the afternoon, with also no fight at all. She takes after her mother, we both like and need our sleep!

She is also our candy monster. She really really, really, likes candy. If she sees you eating it, she has to have some too. And she is cute about it, so you can’t resist giving it to her. When she gets it, she does this little dance where she sways back and forth, shaking her hips. She often pushes one of the kitchen chairs over to where she thinks there is candy, and will try to get it. If she gets caught, she just smiles and says, “Tandy??”

She also loves yogurt, and if she sees the refrigerator open, then she makes a beeline for it.

She is Tanner’s little follower. She wants to do what he is doing, and have whatever he has. So far they have been good to each other and they don’t really fight (unless Tanner is teasing her).

She is starting to sing a little bit. You can sometimes catch her singing the tune to rock-a-bye-baby. She recently has started doing ittsy bitsy spider. The tune isn’t quite right, but she does the hand motions and sings.

Some of her words are: Nah-ta:Natalya Papa: grandpa (who shes calls any balding man over 4o years old) Gma: grandma

Cah:car ball:ball aln-non: all done….. she also says “quah quah” to any bird.

Her best friend is Leah (the sister of Tanner’s best friend Eli) She gets excited now when she sees her, and they play cute together now! The other day we were at the Bean Museum and Natalya brought her purse (another thing she likes to do). Her and Leah had a fun time. I can only imaging what this will be 15 years from now…

I am imagining there is a cute boy on the phone, and they are fighting over who is going to talk to him!

Natalya also loves the park! Now that we have been able to go a few times this week, she will now go down slides all by herself, and she loves it!

Best off all, Natalya is our cuddle bug. She is know to give random hugs and kisses. She cuddles, and loves to sit with me while she is reading. She often grabs an magazine or book, and reads right along with me. She also likes to snuggle with Dad first thing in the morning, or right before bed, when she is sleepy.
